Join us for a walking tour focused on the vibrant, and potentially endangered, Mid-Century Modern buildings located in the heart of Ambleside, West Vancouver.
Led by our experienced guides, the tour will discuss the elements and features of the Mid-Century Modern style and examine how the hallmarks of this iconic period were uniquely incorporated into both the interiors and exteriors of our local Mid-Century Modern architecture. This is a rare chance to see the unique interiors of a number of iconic privately-owned buildings!
During the tour, we’ll walk for just over 2 km for roughly 2.5 hours at a reasonable pace.
Location and time:
• Check-in at the South Entrance (across the hall from the cafeteria) of the West Vancouver Seniors’ Activity Centre, 695 21st Street.
• Please arrive 30 minutes in advance of your tour time for check-in.
