Works from the Collection

Bertram Charles Binning (1909–1979), considered to be one of British Columbia's most prominent artists and modernists, was inspired by the coastal landscape and harbour scenes he encountered in and around West Vancouver. In 2008, the West Vancouver Museum acquired a significant body of artwork from the Estate of Jessie Binning including drawings of local places and people along with several paintings. This is the first time these works are being exhibited since they were acquired.
