Panel Discussion with the West Coast Modern League
Location: The Polygon Gallery
Cost: by donation
Tickets: available soon
This in-person panel discussion will be presented with the West Coast Modern League, as part of our West Coast Modern Week programming. Panellists will feature a multi-disciplinary group of design experts who will critically contextualize the relationship between mid-century West Coast Modernism and contemporary architectural and design practices in order to further analyze whether West Coast Modernism was a historical movement or if it is still relevant in practice today.
The West Coast Modern League is a Vancouver volunteer-based and non-profit society. The organization is dedicated to celebrating, and advancing the understanding and appreciation of, architecture, urbanism, and design of the North American west coast, with a special focus on the southern coastal regions of British Columbia.
